Sketch Update

 My sweet baby Mydia, warm up sketch, color from b/w practice.

 Did this one on my moleskine, when I was on the train to Ankara. After-war Mydia.

Enviroment practice here. But I got incredibly tired when I was doing there. These little people are Leon and Mydia, based on a short rp my friend confessionsofacoffeeholic wrote.

Whitecat is getting herself in trouble. Hehehehe.

I decided to use Sai today, after a long time. I missed it I suppose. That picture came out of it. Messy and sketchy but I liked it that way. I'll use Sai for a while I guess.

I went to Ankara this weekend, to meet my friends. I saw Ekin, who I haven’t seen even once in 7 years! So this is the sketch of… Our rp characters, heheh. It felt like they finally got together so I thought that would be pretty for her.

The Bloodbath

Sooooooooo…. What’s with the creepy thing you may ask. Well, I henna my hair from time to time, that’s why it’s reddish. I hennaed my hair today too, but used a different mix this time. When I went to shower to wash it off, that was what I saw. I was like I’ve just got out of blood bath. Or found a safe place after months of fighting the zombie horde *-* I can’t tell how I enjoyed it hahahhahah. I actually can write stories on this.

I'm so glad the wearther is finally getting colder. It's time for hoodies, tights and legwarmers!

Sketch updates!!

I'm not properly painting something nowadays. Feels like it's time to improve, because I've been experimenting for so long and I'm very happy with the results.

The school started, but I'm not sure if it will make me draw more, or less. More I guess, since there will be no one around to keep me busy here. My friends are usually making me draw MORE. Maybe in the final exams weeks I may disappear but I still have a loooong time till then.

Square Brush Tests

I've never used Photoshop's default squre brushed since yesterday and now I'm totally obsessed with them!

This one started as a fast sketch, started to color as I was explaining how I color to Roselyn. Then, it became a test for my new computer and my livestream account! The new computer works like a monster I can't tell how happy I am. I may livestream sometimes.

This is also a cheer up gift for dizzytea.

Weekly Art Challenges

I discovered a tumblr blog, Weekly Art Challenges yesterday. They had a challenge going on, working with color palettes. No different colors, no darker or lighter shades, no blacks, no whites. Just them. It was fun. I've never worked with palettes before.

Allright, that's it. Why in the bloody hell I can't draw when I want to? I've been trying to draw something, at least a sketch but I could do nothing. That's not funny. I am not amused.

Day 12 - Most Recent Accomplishment

Last friday, I went to Starbucks to have a coffee and rest a little bit. Like I’ve told you before, I try to sketch the places I go, so I took my sketchbook out and drew the place. Then a worker came by and told me the drawing was so good and asked if he could have it so he can hang it on the board there. It was the first time someone came to me and told me my drawing was good. Thank you, Starbucks guy. You really made my day.

Challenge Update!

Day 11 - Turning Point in Your Life

Entering University, really. After years and years spent on science lessons, suddenly I realised I can’t live without drawing and I found myself majoring Graphic Arts. It was sudden, but now I can’t even think myself somewhere else. Actually, I really started to live after I’ve entered the university since I’ve moved out from my over-protective parents so I finally started to learn about myself and the world.

I’ve been listening to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World : The Game soundtrack for two days so It’s kinda 8-bit stuff. I’m having fun of it, really :D
