Day 12 - Most Recent Accomplishment

Last friday, I went to Starbucks to have a coffee and rest a little bit. Like I’ve told you before, I try to sketch the places I go, so I took my sketchbook out and drew the place. Then a worker came by and told me the drawing was so good and asked if he could have it so he can hang it on the board there. It was the first time someone came to me and told me my drawing was good. Thank you, Starbucks guy. You really made my day.

Challenge Update!

Day 11 - Turning Point in Your Life

Entering University, really. After years and years spent on science lessons, suddenly I realised I can’t live without drawing and I found myself majoring Graphic Arts. It was sudden, but now I can’t even think myself somewhere else. Actually, I really started to live after I’ve entered the university since I’ve moved out from my over-protective parents so I finally started to learn about myself and the world.

I’ve been listening to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World : The Game soundtrack for two days so It’s kinda 8-bit stuff. I’m having fun of it, really :D

And that's a fast sketch I did when I was sitting with friends, I was trying different outfits for Mydia. Don't mind her weird anatomy. I couldn't fit the sketchbook in the scanner so it looks weird.

Day 4 - Favourite Place

Well, it was kind of hard to decide, since I have no particular place to call “favourite”. Anywhere could be favourite to me, since I have my precious friends with me. Really, anywhere can be pretty with them.

So I went with somewhere I loved and missed. It’s our old vacation house, somewhere around Aegan Sea, next to the shore with lots of olive trees around. I loved the place, I loved my room in the attic, I loved the terrace. I used to go up there, light some candles and watch the stars and the sea all night, until the first lights of the sun. I remember we climbed to the roofs to get to each others’ terraces to spend the night together.

Too bad we had to sell the place. I loved it there. I remember getting goddamn angry when my parents decided to sell it.

Bugünkü konumuz "en sevdiğimiz yer" idi.

Karar vermesi güç oldu, çünkü tam olarak "en sevdiğim" olarak adlandırabileceğim bir yerim yok. Her yer "en sevdiğim" olabilir, tabii arkadaşlarım yanımda olduğu sürece. Onlarla her yer güzel ♥

Bu yüzden ben de çok sevdiğim ve özlediğim bir yer üzerine karar verdim. Ve işte, eski yazlık evimiz, Ege'de bir yerlerde (Ayvalık civarıydı hatta), kıyıda, zeytin ağaçlarının ortasında bir yer. Orayı çok severdim, tavan arasındaki odamı, terası çok severdim. Geceleri terasa çıkıp, birkaç mum yakıp günün ilk ışıklarına kadar yıldızları ve denizi seyrederdim. Bazen yan evdeki arkadaşlarımla çatıya tırmanıp birbirlerimizin odasına geçtiğimizi hatırlıyorum, geceyi beraber geçirmek için.

Satmak zorunda kalmamız çok kötü. Satılalı yıllar oldu. Annemler satmaya karar verdiklerinde çok sinirlenmiştim.

30 Days Drawing Challenge

Since I'm trying to draw nearly every day, I have decided to do this. Not every single day maybe, but as often as I can.

Hemen hemen her gün birşeyler çizmeye çalıştığım için, bu şeyi denemeye karar verdim. Ard arda her gün yapamam belki ama elimden geldiğince sık takip etmeye çalışacağım.

I've been working on this picture so far, now I'm kinda bored with it. I continue on drawing -at least TRYING to draw- rooms when I take breaks from lessons.
You see Romina's room in the second picture. The last one is Leon's. Yep, I'm too lazy to color them. They're more like practice sketches, I think I won't be doing a full-painting of rooms until I'm satisfied with drawing them.

Bugün şu çizim üzerinde uğraşıyordum ki, sanırım onunla uğraşmaktan yoruldum-ya da sıkıldım. Ara veriyorum, verdiğim aralarda da oda çizmeye-en azından çizmeye çalışmaya- devam ediyorum. İkinci resimde gördüğünüz Romina'nın odası, sonuncusu da Leon'un. Evet, onları boyamak için fazla tembelim :D Deneme eskizleri gibiler daha çok. Şimdilik tamamen boyanmış bitirilmiş bir oda resmi yapmayacağım sanırım, en azından çizimlerden memnun olana kadar.

I Just Can't

I think I'm going crazy. In the last two days, I've been trying and trying to draw, but I just can't! All I could do was sketches. I just want to draw ;_;

The first one is a really quick sketch of Leon and Mydia, at their first time in the after-war timeline. I couldn't even clean up the picture. Yep, Leon was supposed to have a rifle, maybe in the further sketches...

The second one... For the first time, I tried to draw a room. It's Mydia's room. She's not that tidy of course, her room is a real mess actually.

And the last picture is the thing I'm working on today, just to practice. I was heavily inspired by Loish. I hope it turns out well...

Deliricem! Vallahi çıldırıcam. Son iki gündür birşeyler çizmeye çalışıyorum ve adam gibi eskiz bile çıkaramaz oldum. Sinir geldi. Sadece çizmek istiyorum oysa ki ;_;

İlk resim ~ Savaş sonrası ilk zamanlarında Leon ve Mydia. O kadar hızlı gelişti ki bu eskiz, ben de şaşırdım ama sonra her şey birbirine giriverdi. Evet, Leon'un bir tüfeğinin olması gerekiyor ama yapamadım işte, eskizi ilerlettiğim zaman tüfeğe ayrıntı girerek onu gerçekten bir silah yapmak planım...

İkincisi~ İlk defa oda çizmeyi denedim! Fena da olmadı hani. Mydia'nın odası. Tabii ki acemiliğimden dolayı aşırı toplu odası. Aslında tam bir karmaşa olması gerekiyor.

Son ~ Bugün üzerinde uğraştığım resim. Öylesine, alıştırma olsun diye başladım. Loish inanılmaz derecede ilham olmuş durumda şu anda. Umarım iyi gider...
